Training recommenced on the 5th August for Rugby Nice Côte d'Azur and the latest recruits are now arriving. Following the arrival of scrum half, Damien Delmonte of Vannes and Mark McHugh the Fly half from Montpellier, the Georgia international centre, David Kacharava has arrived on the Cote d’Azur and participated in his first training session on Monday night. Kacharava, 24, has 26 selections for Georgia and played two matches during the last World Cup in France in 2007.
Ross Beattie,31, The second row from Newcastle who has 9 international selections for Scotland has also signed with Rugby Nice Cote d’Azur and will arrive in the coming days. Apart from a move to Newport, Wales in 2004, Beattie (1.96 m, 111 kg) has played most of his career in the English championship (Newcastle, Northampton, Bristol and again Newcastle). Rugby Nice Cote d’Azur will soon be signing a prop and an additional centre.

The high scoring fly-half from Montpellier confirmed on Friday that he will play for Rugby Nice Cote d’Azur next season. The 31 year-old from Connacht, Ireland is a prolific kicker. He joined Montpellier in 2007 and played two years in the Top 14.
